Meet Registered Nurse-Clinical Educator for Hale Makua Kahului and Wailuku.

What do you do for Workforce Development?

I am a Clinical Educator for Hale Makua Health Services.

What do you do outside of work?

I certify people in the community in Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training, if there's a need.

How did you get interested in workforce development/education?

I took over for the previous Clinical Educator. During my orientation, I was told that in two years I would be taking over the Clinical Educator position. Two years later, that's what happened.

What do you love most about your role?

I like that I'm directly involved in educating and creating new nurses.
