Ohana Pacific Health's team members play a critical role in creating a healthier community. As primary advocates for the vulnerable in our community, our team is critical to our mission, and all that Ohana Pacific Health stands for. We are committed to supporting our employees, both professionally and personally.

WHY JOIN OUR `OHANA?

OUR APPROACH

At Ohana Pacific Health, we place a focus on healthcare excellence across our organization. Our healthcare pathway focuses on professional and personal development of both current and of future employees.

HEALTHCARE PATHWAYS COLLECTIVE

Ohana Pacific Health is an organization that facilitates and invests in local healthcare workforce. As a healthcare industry lead, Ohana Pacific Health convenes a cross-sector partnership called the “Collective”, that includes the Department of Education, University of Hawaiʻi, and local high schools. Through the efforts of the Collective, an aligned range of opportunities will allow youth to get on the fast track to a rewarding career in health care as well as continued opportunities for growth within the health care field.

NURSING WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

We know that in order to attract, inspire, and retain the best nurses, we must support them in their career progression. The Nursing Workforce Development Program does so by ensuring that nurse aides and nurses have access to professional development support and training for career expansion. We provide six training programs with a focus on enhancing the art and practice of nursing.

  1. Nurse Aide Training Program

  2. Nurse Aide Registered Apprenticeship Program

  3. Student Practical Nurse Clinical Training Program

  4. Licensed Practical Nurse Residency Program

  5. Registered Nurse Residency Program

  6. Preceptor Training Program
