CNA to LPN Bridge Program
The CNA to LPN Bridge Program offers professional nursing experience and training opportunities for Certified Nurse Aids to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Overview
The CNA to LPN Bridge Program is a collaboration between Hale Makua Health Services, Ohana Pacific Health (OPH) and University of Hawaiʻi Maui College (UHMC). The 12–month hybrid program is available to eligible OPH employees on Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Maui, and Hawaiʻi Island and includes online lectures and coursework, in-person labs and clinicals at various host sites. Participants maintain regular part-time CNA employment while attending nursing school.
Each year, OPH sponsors a select number of CNA employees for seats in Bridge Program cohorts across the islands.
