Honoring our Ohana Champions who serve in Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island communities and learn how Ohana Pacific Health (OPH) works with families to build a community of support, providing necessary resources and fostering connections, all of which help make up “Ohana Experience."

Our Ohana Champions are employees who demonstrate their commitment to fulfilling the company’s mission, vision, and values through genuine care, respect, and understanding. These inspiring individuals see the meaning and purpose of their work. OPH’s Ohana Champions not only work hard but make a positive impact on residents and families of those they serve and serve alongside by providing support and opportunities that improve their well-being or quality of life. The Champions were nominated by their peers and chosen by a selection committee made up of leaders from across the organization.

Shaun Abregano, The Villas

Shaun Abregano is a Maintenance Associate at The Villas in Honolulu, HI. He believes his purpose is to provide support and keep the facility environment equipment and systems running smoothly, safely, and clean for our residents and staff.



Sandi Puanani Nihipali, Ann Pearl Rehab & Nursing

Sandi Puanani Nihipali, Social Worker at Ann Pearl Rehab & Nursing in Kaneohe. Her vital role support the resident’s well-being. Sandi is a strong advocate for our kūpuna.



Angie Bautista, Hale Makua Wailuku

Angie Bautista, Certified Nurse Assistant at Hale Makua in Wailuku, has been working at the facility for almost 45 years. She is very dedicated to her work and provides compassionate care to each of her residents as though they were her own family.



Emma R. Igloria, Legacy Hilo

Emma Ruth Igloria is a Registered Nurse at Legacy Hilo Rehab & Nursing on Hawaiʻi Island. She is known for her compassion, commitment, and hard work. Emma is the rock for her team and always providing support to others.



Connie Rita, Hale Kūpuna Heritage Home

Connie Rita is the Maintenance Manager at Hale Kūpuna Heritage Home. She fulfills our mission, “Caring for Kūpuna,” by going above and beyond the call of duty. Connie is like a “mother hen.” She spends time getting to know both residents and staff to help others in need.
