David Schenk started his journey with the Kālele Care Services program several months ago, following a hospitalization and brief stay at Hale Makua (short-term rehab and long-term care facility). His wife and caregiver, Loretta Schenk, found support for David's transition from Hale Makua back to their home through the guidance of their Kālele Community Health Navigator, Richard Coloma.
